It was then that the Sun God, La, opened Her eyes. Beams of light shined down, and thus, was the  beginning of all things.

Her ray tore through the darkness, and through the gap, the universe was born.

La's eyes became the Sun.

The Sun soars high into the sky, illuminating the world. As the sunlight touched the earth, the land trembled as if waking from an ancient dream. Green trees and grasses sprang up, and the dew that fell beneath the clouds began to flow as clear river waters.

Having defeated the darkness, La shaped order into the world.

As Her fingers touched the soil, life was born.
The soil, rooted in the land, split into two, and thus began the lives of "The Ones Who Create" and "The One Who Covet." 

Those who resembled La, bearing the power of the sun, were able to create life.
With this brilliant power, they bloomed civilization upon earth.

However, those who were not blessed by La's grace, envious of the power of creation, sought to take it for themselves.

The Ones Who Create, trampled by violence, barely managed to extend their lives under The Ones Who Covet.

They spoke blasphemous words, claiming that, violence, which holds the power to destroy and trample, was the true embodiment of the “Sun God’s” power. 

"How can a mere creature, incapable of creation, dare to call itself divine?"

Enraged by their arrogance, the Sun God La sent down Her divine Herald to redeem The Ones Who Create.

The Herald, radiant in light, bestowed divine power upon four warriors and called them the “First Ones.”

The blessing of the wind, imbued with the mysteries of spring, was given to Bastet.
The blessing of water, wrapped with the passion of summer, was given to Tefnut.
The blessing of fire, filled with the abundance of autumn, was given to Hathor.
Lastly, the blessing of the earth, carrying the serenity of winter was given to Maat.

Under the name of The Sun, those who sought what was not theirs perished forever.

This marked the beginning of a new world.
